EADMT General Assembly 3-4 October 2026

Dear Delegates, Deputies and Working Group/Committee Coordinators,

This is our official invitation to this year’s General Assembly of EADMT, together with the attached agenda for this year’s meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. On Saturday evening, we will have dinner together and spend some casual time with one another.

Sunday October 4th: 10:00–15:00 CET

The DMT seminar day is organized by the Dance Movement Therapy Association Denmark on October 2nd. Find information about the seminar day HERE

We have reviewed the EADMT Mission Statement and Statutes and the Rules of Procedures documents. Attached you can find our proposals for changes to be voted on this year General Assembly. Please go through them thoroughly, as these documents regulate the activities of the EADMT. We warmly welcome your suggestions, comments, or questions by email at secretary@eadmt.com by August 30, so that we can make any needed adjustments before the GA.

Rosa and Terje will finish their second term, and Petra her first term, as board members. Indra will have one more year in her second term. So, there will be (re)elections of 3 board members. Delegates and deputies of FULL professional and basic members – if you are interested in putting forward your proposal to become a board member, please let us know by August 30.

EADMT really need people who are ready to contribute and gain valuable experience as board members. If you are thinking of being on the Board in the future and would like to “shadow” the Board as an opportunity to learn more about its work, we would be very happy to hear from you too. We encourage this as a good way to get to know the Board’s work better and to consider contributing more actively in the future.
